The City of Seabrook has collected this month’s revenue from the State Comptroller’s Office. The total amount of revenue received was $387,206.46.
This month’s figure reflects an increase of $108,936.76; an increase of 39.15% from July, 2016.
The year-to-date total sales tax revenue for fiscal year 2016-17 is up 8.05% or $237,303.51 over last year’s total at this time. Fiscal year-to-date actual sales revenue is $3,186,932.96.
Seabrook’s sales tax is broken up into three funds; General Fund (50%), Economic Development Corporation (25%) and the Crime Control District (25%). The July revenue breakdown is as follows:
Sales tax revenue is generated by sales tax income from two months prior to collection; July collection is based on May sales.
