The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will hold a Public Hearing for the Red Bluff Expansion on Thursday, June 21, 2018, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the NASA Gilruth Center, located at 1201 E. NASA Parkway. An Open House prior to the Public Hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. TxDOT in conjunction with the Harris County Engineering Department (HCED), is the Lead Agency proposing improvements to Red Bluff Road.
TxDOT and HCED are seeking the opinions of Seabrook residents on the proposed project which will add two new eastbound lanes to Red Bluff Road, including a two-lane bridge with a 10’ wide hike & bike trail. The current roadway will convert to host westbound traffic.
The City of Seabrook encourages both residents and motorists who often commute on Red Bluff between SH 146 to Kirby to attend this Public Hearing. TxDOT and HCED will be onsite to help address any questions that may arise in regards to the project and the impact the expansion will have.
