Board of Adjustment / Building Standards Commission
By unanimous vote, the City Council approved the reappointment of Terry Moore as a regular member to the Seabrook Board of Adjustment / Building Standards Commission for a term to expire January 1, 2023.
Seabrook Economic Development Corporation
City Council unanimously approved the reappointment of Paul Dunphey, Terry Chapman, Gary Bell, Ernie Davis, and Kevin Ferguson to the Board of Directors of the Seabrook Economic Development Corporation for terms expiring January 1, 2023.
H-GAC Transportation Safety Committee
City Council unanimously ratified the nomination by Mayor Pro Tem Picha of Sean Wright, Chief of Police, as a representative and Lieutenant, Bryan Brand, as Alternate to the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) Transportation Safety Committee for the two (2) year term beginning in year 2021.
Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) for the Livable Centers Grant Study
After receiving a presentation by Paul Chavez, Director of Economic Development, on the purpose and goals of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee, Councilmember Hammann volunteered to serve on the SAC for the Livable Centers Grant Study.
ORDINANCES
Ordinance 2020-28 – Social Media Policy
By unanimous vote, the City Council approved Ordinance 2020-28 on first reading to update the Employee Social Media Policy to establish a framework for the use of social media and assist employees on how to effectively and responsibly navigate issued unique to social media.
