Sealed Request for Proposals for Sodium Bisulfite, Seabrook Project No. 2023-07 will be received until 10:00 AM on April 27, 2023 by the Purchasing Coordinator, Gerald Pierce, and 1700 First Street, Seabrook, Texas 77586. Bids must be received and time stamped by the Purchasing Coordinator prior to the aforementioned time, when they will be publicly opened and read aloud at Seabrook City Hall. No late bids will be accepted. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Coordinator, Gerald Pierce through email .
RFPs may also be submitted electronically through Public Purchase. To submit an RFP electronically, an account will need to be created in Public Purchase, and then RFP 2023-07 can be accessed for electronic submission. All chemicals should be delivered to the specified facilitie(s) as required. Chemicals will be ordered as needed, not regularly scheduled deliveries. Per gallon pricing should include any and all delivery, administrative and other costs associated with the purchase and delivery of Sodium Bisulfite.
Any variance in any item must be specified clearly under the Exceptions to Bidder's Proposal by Bidder in order to have a valid bid. Any exceptions taken may be just cause for disqualification.
38-42% NaHSO3 by weight to be delivered to the City’s wastewater treatment plant located at 715 Main Street. Quantity ordered will be up to 1,000 gallons per shipment. The bid price shall be good for one year from the award date. The estimated amount of NaHSO3 to be consumed for the twelve-month period could be between thirteen thousand (13,000) and twenty thousand (20,000) gallons.
