The long-anticipated berm expansion of the city's hike & bike trails is open! Join Open Space, City Council, Public Works and others on Saturday, September 17th at 9:00 AM for a ribbon cutting and tour event.

Start off at the Public Works Complex, pick up a tour passport and hit the trails! There will be stations by the alligator pond behind Public Works, the new trail intersection, and at points along the new trails. Be sure to stop at each station to mark your passport and return to Public Works to collect your commemorative enamel pin!

Stations will be manned until 11:00 AM, but the trails are open dawn to dusk unless closed for maintenance. The scenery is absolutely stunning, so please join us to celebrate this new trail expansion.
