All dogs and cats that are over 4 months of age must be registered with the city. All licenses expire on December 31 and must be renewed annually.
Animals can be registered at City Hall Customer Service, 1700 First Street, by providing proof of current rabies vaccination. You will be issued a metal tag, which must be attached to your pet’s collar. If the tag is becomes lost a replacement may be obtained for a $1 fee.
Failure to register your pet with the city may result in a citation and fine.
