Punctuality is crucial for your court appearance. Please allocate sufficient time for potential traffic, parking, and security screening upon arrival. Ensure your presence in the courtroom when the docket is called; failure to respond may result in a warrant being issued.

Conduct During Court Sessions

Respectful behavior is required during court proceedings. During an open court session, each individual is given the opportunity to listen to the Judge's instructions about his or her case. Avoid talking, disruptive noises, frequent entering/exiting of the courtroom, and other disruptive behaviors that may interfere with the interaction between an individual and the Judge. Computers, games, recording devices, and disruptive electronic devices are not permitted.

Court Security

Expect security measures upon entering the courtroom. The bailiff will conduct a security check, including wanding, and searches of strollers, bags, purses, briefcases, and personal items. These measures are in place to ensure the safety of everyone present in the courtrooms.
