It's Time Texas - Community Challenge

Join Seabrook in the 2023 Texas Community Challenge

Seabrook, Texas (December 7, 2022) – It’s Time Texas Community Challenge, presented by H-E-B, is a statewide competition that pits Texas communities against one another to see who can demonstrate the highest commitment to healthy living. The Seabrook City Council on December 6, 2022, approved participation as a community challenge that runs until March 5, 2023. Communities are divided into categories based on their population size. The winning community for each division will receive conference and travel stipends for two individuals to attend the Healthier Texas Summit hosted by It’s Time Texas in October. Join Seabrook in a commitment to healthy living as we compete against other small cities across Texas. Individuals, city councils, schools and school districts, businesses and faith-based organizations across Texas are encouraged to compete. Participating individuals and entities can earn points in a multitude of ways by registering on the It’s Time Texas App for community points and individual prize incentives for: 1) Weekly Participation;  2) Mini-Challenges; and 3) Individual Grand Prize Winners. We hope you will join Seabrook as we pursue healthy lifestyles and compete to be the most healthy community in Texas.
