NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE SEABROOK CITY COUNCIL WILL MEET ON TUESDAY JUNE 1, 2021 AT 7:00 PM IN THE CITY HALL CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1700 1ST STREET, SEABROOK, TEXAS, TO DISCUSS, CONSIDER, AND IF APPROPRIATE, TAKE ACTION WITH RESPECT TO THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SEABROOK CHAPTER 2,“ADMINISTRATION”, ARTICLE II, “CITY COUNCIL”, DIVISION 2, “MEETINGS”, SECTION 2-46 “MEETINGS”, BY AMENDING SUBSECTION (a), “REGULAR MEETINGS” TO PROVIDE FOR REGULAR MEETING DATES OF THE CITY COUNCIL, WITH COMMENCEMENT TO ORDINARILY BEGIN AT 6:00 P.M.; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT OR IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

5.7   Consider and take all appropriate action on the reappointment of Miles Whittington, David Salinsky, and Kathleen McCumber, as the Alternate Judges of the Seabrook Municipal Court of Record, each for a four year term to expire on June 7, 2025, and, as applicable, a waiver of the residency requirement for each as allowed under Section 9.02 of the City Charter.  City Council

THE CITY COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO HEAR ANY OF THE ABOVE DESCRIBED AGENDA ITEMS THAT QUALIFY FOR AN EXECUTIVE SESSION IN AN EXECUTIVE SESSION BY PUBLICLY ANNOUNCING THE APPLICABLE SECTION NUMBER OF THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT, (CHAPTER 551 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE) THAT JUSTIFIES EXECUTIVE SESSION TREATMENT.
