Are you SeabrookREADY for the 2019 hurricane season? 

Join Jeff Galyean, Seabrook's Director of Emergency Management for a Hurricane Town Hall workshop on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at 6:30pm to learn how you can become SeabrookREADY now! Jeff will go over the basics, such as staying informed with the City of Seabrook's priority notification system, building a kit and "go bag" and what contents should be included, as well as how to create a family emergency plan so everyone in your household is prepared.

Special Guests:

  • City of Seabrook's Floodplain Manager, Nick Kondejewski, will be available to answer questions about flooding and flood insurance.
  • City of Seabrook's Communications Director, LeaAnn Petersen, will be present to answer your questions about staying informed during an emergency.
  • The National Weather Service will be on site to give an update about this year's hurricane season.

Hurricane season begins on June 1st and lasts through November 30th.
