[ARCHIVED] 4th of July Drive Thru Kids' Parade

We aren’t going to let COVID-19 stop our annual 4th of July Kids Parade, but we are going to modify things a bit to ensure the safety of our residents and staff. City departments have come together to host a 4th of July Drive-Thru Kids Parade on Saturday, July 4th between the hours of 10am and noon. We invite you to decorate your vehicles with balloons and signs and drive through the Public Works / SVFD Training Grounds circle located at 1100 Red Bluff Road (see map below).

Important reminders to ensure this event remains safe for all participants and that we are following recommendations from the county, state, and federal health authorities:

1. Please do NOT exit your vehicles. City departments will have booths set up and will have social distancing protocols in place to be sure that each child in your vehicle receives a small item or goodie bag.

2. Please do NOT ride bicycles or scooters through the drive-thru parade.

3. City staff will wear masks and gloves in addition to sanitizing frequently touched surfaces to ensure we are keeping you and your family as safe as possible.

4. If anyone in your household has been sick, running a fever, or has had any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home.
