Not much has changed from yesterday in regards to Tropical Storm Beta. Our Office of Emergency Management still continues to monitor the storm and we encourage our residents to monitor as well. The City of Seabrook remains under a Storm Surge Warning and a Tropical Storm Warning, however, we are no longer under a Hurricane Watch. Seabrook should expect to begin seeing some tropical storm force winds and storm surge late into the evening with rains coming in early Monday through Wednesday.
This system is forecast to be very slow moving at approximately 4mph. We have the potential to receive up to 10-12 inches of rain over the next several days. Please use caution when traveling during storms and never drive through flooded roadways. Turn Around Don’t Drown! #SeabrookReady #TropicalStormBeta
