On Thursday, October 29, 2020, at 6:30 a.m. Seabrook first responders were dispatched to an apartment fire located at the Shor on Clear Lake apartment complex at 3010 E. NASA Parkway Seabrook, Texas.
The investigation by the Seabrook Fire Marshal has deemed the fire to be accidental and determined that the fire was started by a candle.
While no injuries occurred, one apartment unit was deemed a total loss. Four additional units sustained water and smoke damage. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
Agencies and departments which responded to the fire include the Seabrook Volunteer Fire Department, Seabrook EMS, Seabrook Fire Marshal, Seabrook Police Department, Webster Fire Department, Nassau Bay Volunteer Fire Department, La Porte Fire Department, Port of Houston Fire Department, League City Fire Department, Pasadena Fire Department and CenterPoint Energy.
