While the City of Houston has lifted their boil water notice, the City of Pasadena is awaiting test results in order to rescind their notice. The City of Seabrook continues to be under a boil notice per TCEQ’s requirement that every water provider conducts their own testing. In addition, Seabrook cannot test its water until both the City of Houston and the City of Pasadena rescind their notices.
The City of Pasanda is expected to rescind its notice later this morning allowing the City of Seabrook to rescind its notice sometime tomorrow after test results are received. Please continue to boil water until the City of Seabrook lifts the boil water notice.
The good news is that the City of Seabrook’s water system has refilled and re-pressurized. So while we always encourage water conservation efforts, residents and businesses may now resume all normal water activities.
Thank you to everyone who has maintained strict water conservation efforts. We will continue to post updates as they are made available.
