On Thursday, May 11, 2023, Seabrook police and EMS responded to a traffic accident at the SH146 and Repsdorph/E. Meyer intersection. The preliminary investigation indicates that a 2015 maroon Chevy pickup truck traveling southbound on SH146 failed to stop at the traffic signal striking a CCISD school bus that was traveling eastbound on E. Meyer/Repsdorph.  

The driver of the truck and three passengers of the truck have been transported to the hospital. EMS is onsite reviewing and treating any additional injuries from those on the school bus. No major injuries from school bus passengers have been reported at this time.  

As first responders work the scene, southbound traffic on SH146 is closed, SH146 northbound traffic is down to one lane and the SH146 Repsdorph/E. Meyer intersection is closed. Please find an alternative route.
