BOND ELECTION

The City Council heard and received a presentation and update by the City Manager regarding proposed propositions for a November 2023 Bond Program for (1) Emergency Services and Municipal Building Facilities; (2) Park and Municipal Aquatic Facilities; (3) Fire Apparatus and Training Facilities and Certificates of Obligation for Street and Drainage projects and provide direction to the City. By unanimous vote, the City Council approved propositions for Public Safety needs and Street and Drainage Projects, removing the Park and Municipal Aquatic Facilities from the bond election list of propositions.

BUDGET WORKSHOP

The City Council received a presentation by the City Manager and the Director of Finance regarding the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 proposed General Fund Budget and the Enterprise Fund Budget.  Council will meet in a second budget workshop in August to receive a presentation and discuss other Special Fund Budgets, the Capital Improvement Program, and the proposed FY23-24 Tax Rate.
