Soulfreak Ribbon Cutting

Seabrook Welcomes Soulfreak Café with Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening

The Seabrook Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), alongside City leaders and community members, proudly celebrated the grand opening of Soulfreak Seabrook Café with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Located at 1305 Main St., the café officially opened its doors to the public, offering a creative, community-driven space centered around quality coffee, local food, and artistic expression.

Soulfreak Seabrook Café is the newest location of the Soulfreak brand, which began in 2015 and has grown into a unique blend of coffee shop and art collection. Soulfreak identified Seabrook as the perfect home for its next chapter, stating, “Seabrook’s small-town community vibe and support for local culture made it an ideal fit for our mission,” says owner Amy Albro, founder of Soulfreak.

Soulfreak Seabrook Café offers a carefully crafted menu featuring high-quality coffee, locally sourced food and pastries, and an art-forward environment where patrons can shop for handmade goods or participate in creative workshops. In addition to serving the daily coffee crowd, Soulfreak functions as a platform for local artists, musicians, and makers to share their work and connect with the community.

“Soulfreak is a place for all,” said Albro. “Our brand is about unity, regardless of identity, race, religion, or worldview. We advocate for souls and celebrate living a purpose-filled life.”

The café’s signature skull logo reflects this mission—a symbol of inclusion, creativity, and authenticity.

In addition to coffee and artisan offerings, the café plans to host regular art classes and community gatherings to engage residents and artists alike. Looking ahead, Soulfreak aims to expand into other small cities and eventually franchise the brand. A long-term goal is to launch a nonprofit arm to support like-minded individuals dedicated to serving their communities through creativity and connection.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the SEDC presented Soulfreak Seabrook Café with a Certificate of Appreciation for its investment in the local economy and its contribution to Seabrook’s cultural and business landscape. “Soulfreak brings a fresh, meaningful energy to our waterfront district,” says SEDC Director Rick Guerrero. “We are excited to see them thrive and grow here.”
