When it comes to southern coastal living, nothing beats Seabrook, Texas! Located 30 minutes south of downtown Houston, residents and visitors alike treasure this vibrant community for its resort-style experiences along Clear Lake and Galveston Bay. Seabrook’s relaxed lifestyle, business-friendly climate, and affordable waterfront property make it one of the country’s most attractive areas for commercial development.
The Seabrook Economic Development Corporation (EDC) aims to enhance and expand the local tax base by attracting quality, sustainable businesses and amenities that align with the community’s vision. The Seabrook EDC was launched in 1992 and spent the first several years delivering quality-of-life improvements to Seabrook residents and boosting tourism. In 2006, the Seabrook EDC shifted its focus to a more traditional economic development approach, embracing development projects.
